Ok I'm going to order the 18" SSD from Fi to replace my 2 12" Diamond Audio D3.

First of all, is this a good replacement for the 2 12s?

Second I was going to build a ported box for it. I really needed help making plans for it, is there a website that shows plans for making a box?

I'm looking to have it tuned for sql what frequency should it be tuned to for this, also, how many cubic feet does it need Fi's site recommends 6-10 cubic feet is 6 cubic feet too big of a box? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh ok thanks Logan and thanks for replying... I've seen on here that you build boxes but you only list prices for up to 15" subs.... do you build them for 18s, if you do can you give me the a price on a box for this sub, and how much would it be to ship to the 77642 zip code? Thanks again

try this http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/ported-box.asp?Ew=40&Eh=20&Dia=11&Xmax=18&Vd =0.22&NumW=1&Vb=7&Fb=33&Qts=&Vas=&Fs=&CE=0
the port area is 87.875
the woofer xmax on subwoofertools.com is just
a way to regulate the port area so dont mind
the 18mm xmax
O and the 18" SSD driver displacement is 0.22cuft
;)
