Are my subs under powered?

dj ivancovich Bronze Member Username: Djhasanicesoundsystem Vista, Ca Usa Post Number: 35 Registered: Feb-07	Posted on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 - 06:05 GMT i have 2 12" kicker compvr's that are at 4 ohms and in a sealed box powered by a alpine mono MRP-M650.the subs are 400rms a piece and the amp only does about 400rms at 4 ohms. so does this amp under power my subs.

We got it for cheap off ebay for $180 shipped, but now you can find it for $250. That amp is more than enough for those 2 subs. Amp's rated at 600W rms @ 1ohm, probably underrated. It's beating those subs pretty bad
