I'm looking for a loud spl sub to run off of a kx1200 for really no more than 200 bucks... Anybody got any?

The reason I only want to spend 2 hundo is because I will most likely beat the hell out of this sub and if I blow it, I won't be out a lot of money. I have w6's and I'm looking for something I can switch out with those when I want it to be pretty loud.

ya an L7 or L5 should pound hard when you want a headache.15s in either series will bang, but may blow fast than the other brands suggested.I got a 10in L5 rated at 450rms and I got a kx600.1(689rms)on it for a year and it hasent phased it yet,so the L5 15 may hold up to the 1200 if you can get 1 really cheap, maybe on ebay,a refurb may be the way to go for a beat up sub.

I have an 18 btl already, so I kind of wanted something different then fi. I'm thinking an l7 15", but I was wanting something that most average joes have never heard of. Maybe a T3 audio or tc sounds something like that.

A kx 1200.1 will NOT blow up a L7 in 15 min Killa...
A L7 can take 750-1500 rms then you talk about a ssd? the L7 will pound with the KX 1200.1 if he is looking for spl. dont forget about the CVX

i say spit out a little bit more and get a BL

i wouldnt run a L7 off a kx1200.1 because the L7 is rated for 750rms if i recall, and the 1200.1 spits out a little more than 1400...maybe it can take it, i dont know, i havent ever seen an L7 ran off a kx1200.1...that just seems a little too much for it
