post the best cheap Azz set up u have installed or heard. mine is 4 pyramid red series on an audiobahn hc 2400 watt amp. LOuD as HE!!

is that without electrical upgrades??? cus wouldnt the a-bahn hc 2400 amp would need more then stock....

It was in a caprice with a 160 or a 180 amp altenator I cant remember which. Since it was a gm vehicle i am guessing the alt was not stock.

Low grade equipment ie, boss, pyramid ,legacy, pyle, rockwood, spl, power acoustik ect.

my sister had a lightning audio package thing from like circuit city i think and my dad hooked it up for her...and that flexed the sh!t outa her cavalier...real loud....i think it wus 2 10's too in and for like 250 bucks

she had it for a year before it got jacked one night and it wus just as good then as the day she bought it

my cousins pr 15's and prd 500, that the loudest i heard for the price, custombox wasnt so cheap though

my sound shop Premier Sound (where he got em)

pr 15- 210$ for 2

prd 500- 280$

custom box- 430$, but it flexes like sh!t

Lol. One of my speakers I built I wanted to test with low grade subs, (Visonik). Later switched to Daytons. 500w going to (4) 250w subs. I'm glad I only paid what I did for them. Running a test tone to them fried the coils instantly. I've played with alot of cheapos just for kicks. I've got (4) pyramid Royal reds I have to dump. Maybe Cannan can fit them in his busy schedule and send them to their next life. If not, I can pawn them off locally to some 16 year old.

30ft kicker 0/1g wire-$50 (new)
custom box built by yours truly-$25 (1 1/2" mdf)
300a iraggi alt-$350 (new)
TOTAL= $1125
not to bad for a kick azz spl system...i dont have all that much $$$ so all this took a lot of searching and time to find the best prices but its deffinatly worth it!!!! im going to europe this summer and when i get back i will have about $800 for a new amp so well do some more bargin hunting and see what we can get for the $$$$$ (used IA 40.1-$950 on ca.com)

I had a (yeah I know) a 600rms Sony Xplod amp, and 2 Alpine Type R's ina bassworx ported box (my 2nd set up, I roll with the big kids now) and it was loud, I came 5th place in the western finals with 139.5db in a ford escort(db drag)

Pioneer Premier 3000SPL = inexpensive and well worth it.
Hifonics amps = Dependable good amps, 80% efficient.

4 Digital Audio 12's 400watts each... ran on a boss 2ch. bridged at .5ohm yea im suprised it never completely burned out... stock power and all for about 3 months then i gave the system away.... amp got hot enough to cook a egg and actually melted the + terminal solder off the board... i fixed it and it never did it again but i got rid of it days after fixing it... not sure on db score... but friends could hear me like 4 blocks away still... 1990 chevy lumina..
