Just installed a VM9511TS in a 2004 Explorer. All seems well with one exception. When the main display is closed(secondary display)radio on, and the vehicle is placed in reverse, the main screen opens and displays the back-up camera as expected, when the vehicle is taken out of reverse, the screen switches back to the tuner, but remains open. The manual clearly states that it should return to the position it was in prior to initiating the reverse override sequence. Is anyone else having the same issue? Jensen Customer Service says to exchange the unit for a new one.
Bought the camera online from Sonic Electronix. I believe the brand was Boyo and it came built in to a license plate frame. Image quality and low light (0.3 lux) are awesom. Only problem I'm having is with the HU not returning to closed position after reverse override mode. Seems like not too many people are using the cameras on the 9511TS since I've gotten no response to my question.
