i know i have talked to you guys on here about batts before. and i have to decided to go with a bank of generic batteries, as the reinforcement for my sound system. my budget is 160. im not sure what kind of generic batteries to look for though. should i get marine ? deep cycle? starter? i want to get either 2,3, or 4 batteries for 160 bucks. and keep in mind these will be in the cargo area right by the amp.

while its always possible... keep them charged, and keep them in a battery box or equivelant, and you'll be fine.

The regular maxx should do the job, the marine I havent tested, although I think they have the bolt terminals, which are very handy... doesnt make sense to use a top post.

and it holds up fine
