i posted this under head units but no one answered my question well i just currently hooked up one of my 12" L7s in my jetta nad whenever i turn it up past 40 the HU starts skipping because of the bass can you fix this or do i need a new HU? i just got it last year and its a pioneer with graphics so ithought it was pretty good but is it normal for HUs to skip when your subs hit?
ive heard of ppl stuffing sound deadning around it with decent results maybe loosen the screws a little bit run a mp3 player like an ipod to it maybe if its got a usb port then u can use a flash drive
its on pretty good because i have a really hard time taking it out when i wanted to hookup my equalizer so im sure that its in there tight and havoc are you suggesting to put dynamat around the HU?
