im going through the same thing..i have an Eclipse and now im switching to a Lincoln Mark VII..but i've heard a single 10 in the lincoln in a bazooka tube and it got loud enough for me so my stuff should be a little louder.

what year legend is it?

my friend has a system in a 93 legend and it is loud. the backseat don't have anything but cushion so the bass gets through without any problem.

in my accord i has aluminum plate behind the seat so i had to fold the seats down if i wanted louder.

I have always had a car so they system has always been in trunk. Of course it is harder to get louder in a car with a trunk than an SUV or hatchback. If you can fold your seats down this is the easiest way to get it the loudest.
