soo i just sold my type r's and i have a hifonics bxi1606d amp... i can spend around 350-400 for subs..what would be a good sub to use..i like to get low bass but i like some SQ. any info would help

a good sub for that would be a type r lol. look into sound splinters rli-10 its nice! good sq with deep bass. check em out! or even go with the 12".

People seem to totally ignore the Bostons around here. I'd say don't diss 'em. They're really under-looked, and really worth considering. For that budget and good SQ, this would be worth looking into:

If you get a BL I would get it loaded. You could also get two Fi.SSDs. You have the right amount of power for those.
