Silver Member Username: Gavbo211JL Audio 10w3v2, IL US Post Number: 319 Registered: Jan-05 | It's a space thing. if you haven't noticed yet, lots of cars with center mounted speedo's are very small, fuel economy based cars. have the speedometer in the middle makes the car seem larger than it really is. i just rode in an Echo today, which has the speedo in the middle, and i was thinking the same thing as you: retarded. then i realized that although this car was tiny, the speedo position really made it seem larger, oddly enough on both sides of the car. not proven fact, just my 2 cents. |
