Building Box....Woofer Xmax?? Muddy, Chad, any1?

On my build plans http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/ported-box.asp?Ew=18&Eh=22&Dia=6&Xmax=20&Vd= .12&NumW=2&Vb=3.5&Fb=38&Qts=&Vas=&Fs=&CE=0 the woofer xmax is set at 20mm ....is this where i would want it for tuning? again my subs are DD2512a's on 1200rms....box is 38hz...thanks

2 12's......my last was 4.0 cubes tuned to 35hz but i have space requirements in this vehicle and i wanted it tuned a little higher

that'll work. id actually do 4cuft. are you doing subs back and side port?

its going into a reg cab chevy truck between bucket seats where the console would be, subs facing up, slot port will be on the front of the box by floor blowing toward four wheel drive shift lever

do u mean face the port against the back of the cab?? ...there would only be an inch or 2 between the port and the back of the cab
