Faulty Alpine IVA-D310 
Please help.

Bronze Member Username: ChodeczPost Number: 26 Registered: Sep-04 | Hi guys, I recently purchased a second hand Alpine IVA-D310 (http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=IVA-D310) it has a major fault though... I installed the unit 100% correctly, and powered it up. It already had a CD in it which played fine, and all the other functions worked fine.. but when I went to eject the CD it made an ejecting noise for a split second (opposed to the usual long sound untill a disc is fully ejected) but the CD didnt come out! I then had to push the CD back in using another CD, then it made a brief loading noise and said 'disc loading error', then when I press the eject button the same happened as initially! Anyway I eventually pulled the CD out with some small scissors. But now when I try to put a CD in, nothing grabs onto it and it just goes further and further in without being loaded! ( I purchased this unit second hand, and the seller wants a quote on fixing costs and will re-emburse me. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and where/how I can get it fixed?? |
