ok I have(had) a brand new 15" L7. It was getting 1100wrms @ 2 ohms from a hifonics bxi 1606D (Overrated amp) I would say really about 900 wrms. I blew my cone on it and i haven't even had it for 3 months. Whats the best way I can get this fixed? I don't have a warranty and I didn't buy it from an authorized dealer. I really hate that now it just sits in my room and does nothing b/c its blown.

Bite the bullet and send it to kicker for repair. Sell it as broken and get what you can towards a new sub.

dude L7s blow so easily with over powering. I think you'd be fine pushin it with a 1206D but lets say 70-80% of 1600 Hifonics RMS is like 1200-1300 on a 15" you could prolly give it 900, so like haah if you get it fixed, maybe considering downgrading, or i bet you could sell the Hifonics and get enough $$ for a ZX750.1 and those amps and subs are pretty much made for each other.....but yea idk what to do about reconing or recoiling, i think its pretty expensive though for an L7 you could prolly buy cheap.
