Ok i know that like lets put into example a couple of subs the 12" and 18" Q. The 12" Q has an SPL of 84.8dB 1W/1m and the 18" Q has an SPL of 89.4dB 1W/1m. SO i know that means that with the same power the 18" would get louder right.... My question is about how much louder would it be.

Another question if i switch out from a 12" Q to an 18" Q would it be noticablly lower and louder by a lot?? Thanx guyz.

lower yes, louder...i would assume with the right amount of power and enclosure. May not be a precise reccomendation because i have never heard a Q, but the 18's i have heard dropped way lower than any 12 i have owned. Just a thought
