Is it slum to have 2 batteries instead of one cap. I don't have a cap, but two batteries, i put an extra battery in the trunk. I put it in a box with vents and sealed it; i ran tubes out the box and out vents in the trunk so the corrision and acid wont destroy my equipment. Should i still get a cap?

caps are basically useless, get a HO alternator and you'll be fine.

Croucher, why why why would you put vents in your trunk?? Haven't you heard of sealed yellowtop batteries? No acid to spill and gases to worry about.
Look for a similar topic in amps and accessories. Your question was already answered. I'm sure you'll find it interesting.
