Is there a big difference i'm looking at getting a new deck and did not know if there is a big difference between the two. I'm going to have one 12" sub and speakers that run off an amp. thanks for the advice

With the 5 volt HU there will be less noise in your system. When you turn it up loud there will be less static. Noise level is the only thing affected be preout voltage.

Depends on your set up n RCA's. Dont go cheap on your RCAs or amp install kit. But Id go for the higher pre volt HU. Just in case you wanna upgrade your subs/speakers/amp and use 2 amps.
