now, he does have a 450 watt amp and I will only have 400, but I wonder if I'll be able to hit as high as his meter shows(high 130's)
Depends on car and install. If you have a very qell built box (which I assume you do if Marshall built it) and you have a small cab or a hatchback then high 130's shouldn't be out of the question... BTW, the PG amp you have could very well be underrated.
