okay..... I'm planning on putting some 6.5's in the front of my car in a box on the transmission hump. If i wanted to power them with an amp, would i have to power the rear speakers as well? I'm asking because i wasnt planning on replacing the factory 6x9's in the back because i have been told that rear fill doesnt matter.
Also... would it be okay to put the tweeters in that box, or do they need to be a little higher? I've been told you dont have to power the tweeters through an amp. Is that true?
dont make a center channel thats stupid in a car for the most part. to really get good sound out of speakers they need an amp no you dont have to amp all your speakers and when you hook up a tweeter your better off just connecting it to a passive crossover that comes with the comp set
