Hey I got a 15" kicker L7 its only been used for about 3 months.. its hooked up to a hifonics 1606 BXi at 2 ohms which with hifonics thats around 900-1000 RMS the sub is supposed to handle 1000wrms but I think i blew the cone. Is it possible that kicker is really that unreliable? i mean i didn't think I was really pushin the L7 that hard. It makes a nasty poppin noise if I play it now? Is it just something small? or is the sub done for good? This really ruins my plans on getting 2 L7s cause thats what i've been trying to do for a while but if this sub is gone i'll probably have to reconsider.. thanks!

yeah, there's not too many people on here that are gonna argue with you on Kicker sub quality lol. its kinda like drawing out of a hat with them...

when you push the cone down does it make a crackle like noise and have resistance?

btw, i have 2 L7 15's for sale... cheap... lol
