I got 1 10 in L5 now and want to upgrade.I bought 2 cvr 12s while they were on sale.now im second guessing myself about going round.vs squre.question,if i put 700rms on 2 comp vr...or the same 700 on 2 12in L5s wich would be louder?they both have the same efficiency rating(86.7)so even though the L5s will handle more power,they should atleast have the same dbs on the same power,my 10 in L5 sounds awesome,I called crutchfield and theyll take the cvrs back for a 15% restock fee then i could get L5 12s.what would you do????
I am a kicker AMP fan and honestly, My friend has an L5 in the kicker box and I'm kinda surprised. Wouldnt buy one myself, yet it isnt as bad as people make them out to be
their amps are fine? they are the best amplifier for the money around .. their is no one if u know about car audio that will disagree with that ... they put out underrared clean power with every amp they have ... and will continue in their new lines ...
im sorry i didnt get a b0ner over it mike...yea their amps are great...i didnt know saying they are fine was saying they werent good...guess ill choose my words more wisely next time lol. but yea im not gonna argue that they arent great...cause they are great.

thanks JW.I thought the same with more cone area(the L5)s would be a litle louder.And who are these guys steeling my thread trying to buy and sell a used sub???lol,And I just prefer kicker because thats realy all Ive ever delt with,Ive never been dissapointed with a kicker sub ,Until I heard a friends 2 12in cvr s in a kicker factory dual enclosure with only 1 6 in port.that box didnt sound near as good as my custum slot L5.thats why I was concerned about wasting time and money to build a box for the cvr s that ive already got or sendem back.
