could not decide where to put this topic but figured it had to do with subs so here is the post. how much of a difference does it make running a headunit with 2.2prevolt amps or 5prevolt amps in the subs performance?
a big difference in noise and clarity well depens the the voltage vs signal to noise ratio, if you have a 5 volt its pretty damn good but if you get a 5 volt preamp output with bad thd ratigns and higher ohms its not gonna sound good.
