I'm really seriously thinking about making a few tutorials and link them to our site lol :-) ..

1. Measure twice, cut once
2. Use Wood Glue on all joints
3. Pre-drill all holes
4. Use 1-1/4" sheetrock screws (or similar)
5. Do not place a screw within 2 inches of the end of the board.
6. Use a new/sharp blade
7. TAKE YOUR TIME.

Bout all I can think of in the morning.. good luck to you :-)

on another note.. if your counter sink all your pre-drilled holes your box will look a lot cleaner :-)

One thing you really may wanna do is get a friend to help.

Sometimes...holding boards in place by yourself can be a pain...any extra hand can be a life saver.

My brother will be helping me with it so that should help alot. Is 16 millimetres thick enough for the MDF. That turns out to be 0.62 inches. Or should i pay a bit more to get the 18mm (0.7 inches)

Oh and should the wires for the sub just go through the port or is it better to drill a hole for them and then seal the hole off after i pass them through?

18mm is closest to 3/4" so i guess il go with that.

Oh and wat do you use to cut the hole for the sub. I used a jigsaw once to cut a hole for my speakers when i cut my parcel tray and that didnt come out too nicely lol.
