OK...so my question is this: is it worth setting up a system with bass, midbass, and components? I guess what I am asking is if it's possible to set up your system with a pair of 12s or 15s hitting the low notes, a pair of 8s for the middle frequencies, and a good pair of components to handle the highs. Can you use the HU and amps to separate the different frequencies like that?

OK...so in your opinion it wouldn't be worth running a 15" from 20-50hz and the 8" from like 50-100hz and have the components handle 100hz and up? A good 15" (Fi Q or equivalent) will handle 20-100hz well?

Well the resounding response from everyone is the Q, so I'll probabaly end up going with that. What frequencies would you ask it to produce (what would you set a filter to)?
