I'm looking into 2 15"s with an X max of about 6mm (not alot, but they could be free...so leave me alone! LOL) and I was wondering what some ideal port sizes would be. Ive used some calculators and they say about 1.75" on the width but id like to tune it really low to crunch out some deep ends. How does the width of the port affect the response?
Ive got 2 12"s with an xmax of about 3mm and they supposedly hit in the middle 130's and the port is about 4.25" and the box is 5 cu feet and tuned to 32 hz, so I was rather impressed.
What do you professionals think, Im still in the drafting process, so any suggestions are welcome.
