I have the Pioneer Premeer 67 and I notice that it will skip easily. Now, I can put the same CD in my JVC home radio, and it won't miss a beat.:-)
So, is this HU known for this, is there something I can do, and what is another good HU that you would recomend that isn't this sensitive?
Preferable Pioneer Premeer, or Alpine, but open to other suggestions.
Thanks.

try putting apiece of a cousion foam under it if it isn't sturdy already.if that doesnt work just simply clean the player and cd.the cd player is a good one.the more sensitive the better if you ask me,however pioneer does make better cd players that are not as sensitive

Well, if the CD has some finger prince... it skips... I mean, nothing bad. Like I said, My JVC home radio doesn't pick it up. I just hate a CD player that picks every little thing up.
Oh, and its the Premeer 660... sorry about the typing screw up.
