I apologize for this very large and rather subjective question, but I would like to figure out the best subs in each of these price categories (also if any are cr@p compared to the other in the category). I will be putting in two subs, unless I go with something like a BTL. I would like SQ over SPL (I am hoping to be louder than one L7 in a sealed box however) and I will match an amp to whatever is chosen. With that said, thanks for any help you can provide.

what about DD 1012s I have four of them and they have good SQ and get very loud. Very good range on playable notes as well

yes very nice list indeed. looks like someone did a lot of researching.

also yes goni deaf's subs are awesome. he is a trust worthy guy and his subs will hit hard in any system.

you should add the idmax to the over $250 list to, and the aa subs are all sold out and there not making anymore arsenals or havocs if you didn't know. also dd 2512 ($187 plus shipping) and 3512 ($365 plus shipping) should be added. personally, i'd go with the dd 3512 and give each 1500wrms. or be the first to get the new fi sub and give us all a good review of it.

Add PG RSd 12's to your under $150 list.

They sound much better than JL w1 and CVR's....IMO.

lol glad I made a decent list...I got all the info from you guys! Anyway...I filtered out any that I couldn't get for under $400 and that's why I didn't put the IDMAX. Also, I was unaware of any of the prices for the DD line, so if I could get the price for the DD 1012s I will add all these to the list.

Sorry...one more thing...for the AA subs, are they just replacing the arsenals and havocs, or are they just producing the Assassin now?

thier replacing the arsenal and havocs'. i forget the names but if you call and talk to chad (aa) he'll answer anything you want to know about the new lines. not 100% but i think the 1012's are right around $140-150.

add ALpine Type R to ur under $150

& in every catagory a CRYSTAL AUDIO sub can also fit in

u can also add ATOMIC if u want some SPL but certain models still have decent enough SQ to it too .....
