gotta ask how u gonna compensate 4 weakening the mdf though - lots of resin & bracing , & that curve - is it worth all that trouble ? .......

not too bad.. what i meant by cutting the slits close.. was like closer.. 1/4" apart and just where you wanted the bend..

for your first shot ot looks good :-)

too bad it won't fit in your car hehe

forgot to mention when you bend it.. before you bend fill all the gaps with wood glue :-) .. that is where the strength comes from hehe

lol i no it sux real bad that it dont fit.. takin out my backseats this weekend. ya im puttin resin on it. and no its not worth it lol it was really hard to do.

i guess ya got me there :-( .. lol

if you trace that curve and cut a piece to fit into the bend then glue it in.. itll support the bend plenty after you glue the slits

brace would look something like a " D "

looks good. you always have to mess up the first time, thats how you get to where you wanna be. one day you'll be doing stuff like that with your eyes closed lol.

well it was hard 4 me so.. im just sayin on my test pieces they kept breaking... you just have to work with it for a while.

ok i took my back seats out today.. it made it way louder. especially when i do outlaw. but i was wondering what if i seal off my trunk.. would it b louder than if it was outlaw? i just want it loud w/o having to pop my trunk.
