put a sub in a smalll sealed box and play a sweep on the meter and see where your car peaks

Woul'nt the box used matter though. I mean, if the box he used was tuned to a freq, woulnt that matter in determining the peak. For that, it would come out diff depending on the box used. How would you figure it out if you did not have a box and wanted to build one according to specs of vehicle ?

um nickolas if you read my post then you would know you have to use a small SEALED box. to find your cars peak freq.

after you do that you build a ported box so it peaks at that freq. to get the most spl
