ok so i should probably update my profile but i usually just come on here to read this site is very informationful but i recantly had 4 jl 10w3v2's in my car only giving all 4 of them about 900w or so and i got rid of them<< complicated story and they were loud as hell so id like to do 4 new subs but on a way lower budget and im inbetween 4 alpine type r's or 4 kicker l7 any opinions as to which ones to choose personally im a slp person but i do like some sound quality

l7's are cheap on ebay my budget for subs alone is about 600

LoL, $600 is not really cheap. .. . to me anyways. But if you like loud, go with L-7's , if you want a good solid sub that will get loud and sound GREAT, go with JL, it will even have a good resale value. For 600 you can snag anything you want on Ebay.

i just figured 600 for 4 subs was a little cheap for not going low end like audiobahn or something i was also thinking 600 could get me a solo x 18 any thoughts on that

what kind of amp you have or are you going to get to power these new subs? and how much power you plan on running.

3k is alot of power. I would see how much power I would need by seeing what subs you decide to get first.
