Daily port:

Vb = 6.29 cu.ft
Fb = 35 Hz
Fill = none
No. of Vents = 1
Vent shape = rectangle
Vent ends = one flush
Hv = 14 in
Wv = 4 in
Lv = 15 in

SPL Port:

Vb = 6.648 cu.ft
Fb = 41.98 Hz
Fill = none
No. of Vents = 1
Vent shape = rectangle
Vent ends = one flush
Hv = 14 in
Wv = 4 in
Lv = 7.75 in

Now the problem I have is the port area, well the lack of. All I can get is 56 square inches of port area. Think it will be alright?

The Fb in the post is the Hz.. Daily port is 35hz and the SPL port is 41.98hz..

I use Bass Box Pro 6

I'm just concerned about how the lack of port area is going to effect me..

the only problem is i don't have money to be throwing around right now.. beginning of the year so i have to re-budget everything because my bills are falling on different days plus with added health insurance my checks are smaller.

i basically make enough to cover the bills, food and gas.. at least for the rest of this month and probably the beginning of the next

but sadly enough i might just have to try it because i really see no other way

personally i dont think so... u need 70+ for 2 15's imo specially if u wanting to break 50's i have 76sqinches on my box right now and im build one tuned to 45hz with 160sqinches of port..well do a 20" wide port on the bottom u can get more sqiches out of that.

if the box is 17inch high.. after wood thickness there would not even be enough room for a port on the bottom..

i might have a way to squeeze a 6 inch wide port in that box to make for 84 square inches..

how bad do you think the port noise would be wit hthe current choice of a 4 inch wide port .. and how bad would it affect SPL

i think it would be ok but think about this.. u do a 43hz tuning ur looking at 20 inches wide using bottom as a wall, making it like 8 iches high and aprox 10-12inches long might be wrong but that will give u plenty of room for 160sqinches or port..

oh my bad...sorry about the last post didnt mean 8 meant 6" and that would be fine i think the spl will be fine itso nly worth a try and also imo it would be better then ur original route just do like aproximte dimensions 20"w 6" H and whatever tuning u do will make the length best way i can think of

yea.. but that is even if i can squeeze that big of a port.. if all else fails im going to make a 5 inch port work for 70 square inches. i can't settle for less than im running in a 4cu.ft box lmao

two 6" aeros would be less port area..

and as I stated before. there is no chance to do a port on the bottom of the box.

MAX EXTERNAL DIMENSIONS as posted above .. 17x39x24

if the box can only be 17" high and the sub takes 15.5" of that.. your left with 1.5" .. even if you wanted to build a port that slid in there on the bottom the two walls of the port would equal 1.5" thus leaving you 0 for the port :-) ...

screw it though. lol. i don't know why i ask about enclosures :-) .. im just going to build something and make it work :-)

... im talking about surface area on the baffle

the front baffle is 17x39..

39inches wide minus 15.5inches for the subs width.. after the two that leaves only 8inches of usable surface area..

... in the middle of the two subs

there is only .75inch on top of the sub and on the bottom of the sub.. this is why i said there is no room :-)
