What size box are you using and what do you have it tuned to? Mines is i think 3 cu. ft tuned to 33 hz. It pounds. What about you guys

96 sq in of port would be better @ 5.5 cuft, tuned to 38-41hz on 1700-2000rms. Polo.. :-O

my brake light came loose after ten seconds of playing in the box rovin built.Hits pretty hard

nice to the box hitting hard and :-( to the tail light coming loose. but for some reason, when a part of a car breaks or comes loose due to bass, it feels good. lol.

mines a 15 in a 4 cuft box @ 40hz with 50sq.in. or port area -due to space limitations-

polo, the sx really doesn't need that much power they reach their mechnical limits around 1500wrms(depending on enclouser) so pretty much anything over that is just extra heat.

on a TL the extra power would still be louder :-) ..

like the Sony 12" on 4000rms for burps :-)

Dustin you have to remember the BL on a motor structure is always variable. Even though the magnetic assembly is fixed the opposing force is not (input power) this has only a limitation set in stone by heat. Add more power, you raise the BL thus pushing the control envelope higher. You don't need to bring the sub to its mechanical limits to get loud, you just need to do it QUICKER. An Sx on 2500 rms (2x Kicker sx1250.1) is a lot louder than just one amp, and the one can make it bump the backplate, lol. BTW each of them has a measure rms of 1490 (matched set) :-O Polo..
