for $1000?

you have a lot of options, the no new electrical upgrades is holding you back.

sub could be:

dd2512
dd3512
fi q
fi ssd
tc-1000
tc-2000
audioque sd
audioque sd2.5

amp can be determind after the sub is chosen...but most likely to run it off the stock alt (guessing is 100A) id go no more than 1500rms...or even that high, i wouldnt go much over 1200-1300rms.

damn i bought a used jbl amp for 200, 15" Q for 270, box-hand built 20, 4 guage wire for $90, eclipse cd2000 HU on ebay for 60, stinger trunk batt for 100, stinger cap for 100, 0/1 big three 25, thats 775. if you dont want to buy a used amp that still leaves you a ton for the amp. btw, its loud.

i was thinkin a Q on an ed nine.1. Would that get louder than the 2 10" l7's cause they are gunna be run off a two channel hifonics amp (dont know which one) probably underpowered and in a sealed box

itll be close...the l7s will have the famous "more cone area"...

the q will be a much better overall setup. the ed nine.1 would go very well with the Q.
if its not louder, it will be pretty close. imo tho

how much would the 3515 cost cause the ed nine.1 is 315 + like 40 for the box and prolly like 200 for wire and accesories

the 3515 would be louder most likely. its rms is 1200 but can take more. if u get the 3515, id put around 1500 rms or even more. i dont think your stock alt can handle that much power. the q would fit right in with your stock alt. id go with a q and the ed nine but its your call...or your friends
