Where do you mount crossovers???

shoild i put them in like a bag..in the door???

bc if i have to put them in the trunk..thats like a day process

if i mount in the door, its fast, but what if they get wet..

they are not waterproof

Depends on what your looking for. If you want to be flashy, make a panel that houses all your equip in the back, but be aware of all the wire runs you'd have to do.

Beheind the door panel if you can find a gap would be a good location, or even under the dash. But to avoid long runs of speaker wire mount them as close as you can.

i dnt wanna have to wire wires back there.... should i put them IN the door...or on the outside...they look sweet on the outside..

outside as in, in the car, but where you can see them

put them in the little door pocket thing. dont put them inside the doors they will probly get wet.

so i shuould mount them on the surface of the door, rather than like behind them??? like put them where they are visible??

find a space between the door surface & the upholstery - thats what i did with mine & no problemo ever since installed .....

How bout the kick panel area, or velcro to under the dash near the door.
The reason I think they should go near the speakers is that my comps only had about 3' whips with terminals on both ends for tweets, mid, to crossover, and the crossover to amp wire was like 8' with just terminals on one end.
I mounted mine on the upholstery next to the door.. My comps are going in a overhead box over the doors. So the crossover is right next to it. And visable.

cut out some holes in your doorpanel then and flush mount them.. problem solved :-)
