with my new amp
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7160.html#
and with my head unit
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6982.html
and i recently had the same 6x9s hooked up to a different pioneer head unit and they sounded amazing, like they hit really hard for 6x9s and now when i install these with the new amp and everything they sound like hell they don't hit at all but the tweeter works great im wondering what the deal is if anyone could help or even possibly call me cuz this is so confusing and a pain, i checked all my wiring to my cd player, rca's, amp, speakers, everything is right im just wanting to give up ive been working on it forever! someone please help!!

Maybe your crossovers(Head unit or amp) are set so that no bass goes to those speakers. go through the headunit options and turn the hpf off (or set it as low as possible), check the amp and make sure the little high/low/full selector is set to full range if avail. hope this helps

I would suggest staying away from the LOUD button on the HU. Causes an un-even balance between different frequencies. The problem must be with the settings on the HU or the amp as LUIS COLLAZO said.

did you check and make sure your amp is not just playing through the high pass?

should put the switch to full range
