Ok, I've decided to try and not upgrade my alt. for as long as possible so I need some help. I want to know how you isolate a second battery in the trunk? I want to run my stock battery up front and a Optima Yellow Top in the rear. How do I go about isolating the yellow top so there's no resistance between the 2 and they dont strain my alt.?

na it will be fine as long as u dont extremely excede the amount of electronics and batteries u can get like two yellow top or two kineticks hc1400 in the trunk no insulator insulator are the most common cause for voltage drops get two runs of 0 gauge and ull be fine :-)
