can someone please tell me the difference like between 4 ohm and 2 ohm..its a newb question ino but im just wondering..thnks

thats the impendance of the subs like an amp will put out lower power at 4 ohm than at 2 ohm...just for wiring congigurations and stuff

ok.. the lower the ohm load the more power from the amp... like a single 4 ohm sub is 4 ohms... a dual 2 ohm sub u have to wire according to the amp.. that can b wired in parallel to 1 ohm or series to 4 ohm... hope that helped

www.bcae1.com read up on it. not all amps put out more power at 1 ohm then at 4 ohms. ohms are measured in resistence. There are regulated and unregulated power supplies that effect how the different impedence(ohm)loads effect the output of the amp.
