I have my amp hooked up and all the wires SHOULD be in the correct places, but I'm getting no power to the amp. Am I correct in saying that if the remote wire is not hooked up I will not get any power? Are there any other sources of no power besides the main and remote? What kind of tools should I get together in order to check connectivity in every possible location(i.e. the amp itself, the remote source from the fuse box, etc...)?

yes if the remote wire is not hooked up the amp wont turn on check ur ground and fuses
