ok this is the box i have planned out to build h19 w39 d22 inchs, with 2 6inch areoa ports 20inchs long 30hz tune with 56sq inchs port area, with net volume 6.82cf, if my calculations are correct, so would 56 sqinch be enough for a 6.5cf box after displacement, also where can i buy 6inch areo ports, i thought roe had them but when i cheked all they had were 3 and 4 inch.

chad i'll have a little under 10sq inchs per cf would that be enough. also i read somewhere that the lower you tune the more the upper bass will sound muddy is this true?

i don't know about lower tuning making your upper bass sound muddy dustin. i've never experienced it. i've had a box tuned to 28hz at one time and the upper bass sounded nice. the lower bass sounded awesome though.

its gonna be common chamber, i'd like to use 2 6inch ports cause it would fit perfectly, have 2 subs firing back the 3rd firing up in the middle and a 6inch port on each side of the sub, then i'd just make the ports an L shape.
