CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!!! KENWOOD KVT-817

I have the kenwood kvt-817. I cannot get any sound from the single zone when I play a cd/dvd. I can only get sound thru the dual zone. I do get the tuner thru the single zone. Can anyone HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!
