DD break in time?...

my dd2512's should be here a few days and i was wondering how long should i play them at quarter volume? ive heard an hour, all day, and normal playing time (around an hour im guessin each day)for like a week...again pushin em wit a nine.1....just dont wanna fk em up....so whats a safe break in time?...thanks

they be fine. just hook them up right and play. just take it easy for a minute. then just abuse them ;)

the will break in from normal use and just sound a little better once they do. but you dont have to really worry about it.

give it a few weeks of normal volume.

they take a while, they are stiff mofo's....yeah i said mofo's.:-)

so i played low hz bass for an hour then bumped em hard as my amp will push em will i hurt them?....well i mean ive heard break in is just for sq and ive heard its so the sub wont blow....which one is it?...

I was wondering about that too for my SD2.5's. My HU volume level goes from 0-40, I normally play my music at around 25-30, depending on the song. But by me finally getting to play my Subs, I can't turn the HU up past 19-21 depending on the songs because it'll make the CD skip too bad.
