I used to play trumpet in the high school band. We were called Band Geeks, lol, but we always won awards against other schools, so that helped aleviate the pain, lol. Plus we had the colorguard chicks with us, so we werent as bad as the chess club, hehe.

I play the tuba in middle school band(high school too during marching band and parades) and they still call us Band Geeks! Yeah at the last competition we were at we came in 3rd but got 1's on everything. It works.
I played Trumpet and Tenor drum in High School! I was first Chair Trumpet for 3 years! At my high school, it was cool to be in the band. We had all the hot girls, atheletes, THUGS lol. Just cool people. Everybody wanted to be on the Drumline though, we were one the baddest Drumlines in NC! Goin Deaf's high school was one of our biggest rivals, they had a bad @$$ band too!
Bout damn time! That big of a mouth and it took that long? Try closing your mouth a tad, it will cut down on wind resistance and allow you to move ahead faster, lol. Congrats! Polo..
