ok i need a good set of 6 x 9 speakers to relpace the one in the back of my car. i think i blew them a long time ago. anyways i have a 2000 grand am. any suggestions?

first you dont really need rear fill and second 6x9s will not produce the sound as good as 6.5

mat dope is absolutely correct but it is just a little more work to put a round speaker into a oval hole.

I disagree with mat dope on the rear fill I think it adds more of a "fuller" sound to it rather than just having front speakers. mtx are not so great of speakers or at leaste the ones I've herd i don't care for. JL, polk, alpine are good. are you runnin off the stock deck? whats the price range? coaxels or components. and if the front speakers are stock and you add rear aftermarket speakers your gunna wish you replaced the fronts as well cuase the rear will make'em sound bad. or at least thats how it was with my car.

ya thats how I herd of'em they make nice cheap woofers but I'd rather have JL,polk,alpine those are my favs

plus the jackhammer is straight up rediculas bass

was reading some feed back on that thing and the guy said even if you got the money don't buy it. He found him self turning it down more than up and he would set off the bank alarm with the damn thing.
