Just seeing if anyone knows what the best box specs for 2 Eclipse 12" Ti's. From what I've found, 2.28 cubic feet is recommended (this is for 1 i believe) tuned to 35Hz. The car it's going in is a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport, and I'd rather have more SQ than SPL, honestly (not that SPL is a problem with Ti's). [Powered by DA7232 (2000W) if that matters.]

I have 1 12" Ti and I have it in a 1.65 cuft enclosure tuned to 36hz. Sounds damn good. And I think that 2.28 cuft for one would be way to big, this would get sloppy.

thanks isaa w. is your enclosure sealed, ported or vented? And would you say it leans more toward SPL or clarity? ( Also what material is your mox and do you know if i should have separate chambers for each sub? What would be the total cubic feet for 2?)

Well I said that it was tuned to 36hz so that means that it is ported. :-)

It is right in the middle of SPL and SQ, it is made to be an SQL box, it gets loud and sounds great. It is made of 3/4 MDF

It would be a good idea to separate the chambers so each sub has its own airspace.
