I have heard that ported is the way to go for 2 x Kicker CompVR's but I am trying to save some money.
I have a dual 12" bandpass box that came with the 2 "12 Dual-brand subwoofers that best buy sells. Could i take the Dual subs out of this box and put the CVR's in it? and would it sound good?
I could technically go buy a new ported \ vented box but im getting low on money and im trying to only buy what i really have to.
So basically,
Can I use that bandpass box? Will it sound good?

and

Does anyone know where to get a nice cheap box besides ebay? (looked already)

Any suggestions would be appreciate, thanks!

ok build one yourself for like 22 bucks for the wood then like 5 dollars for screws and a thing of liquid nails caulk. Cant beat the price and it will sound way better than that bandpass box. Yeah you could use it in the bandpass but it wont sound so good compared to one you could make for under 30 bucks and know its quality stuff. There are tons of guys on here who will help you build a box for those, its really really simple.

ehh im not so savy in woodworking tho
i dunno if id even have all the tools needed, plus it seems like building my own ported would be tough cause id have to "tune" everything
i dunno, im a rookie to boxbuilding, never tried it.
