In my day noooobody had 1000's of watts. Back then 100w was considered decent, Jensen was king, realistic was considered elite, gas was $.80/gal, only a few people had computers, car phones were $1000 (Yes, I had one), Mcdonalds was still counting the # served, Saturday nights were drive-in nights, penny candy was actually a penny, Coke and Pepsi came in glass bottles, attendants actually looked under your hood while at a gas station, pong was "State of the art", and if your family's car had am/fm stereo you were "cool".

Sorry Logan. Just got done paying the bills and needed a rant.

It is always recommended that u use at least 70% of a subs rms so u dont under power it. U have a 1000 watt rms sub u need at least 700 watts rms so u dont under power it. But then again i deal with cheaper brands so maybe i am wrong.

"Hey make sure u dont play that speaker all the time with that little watts, you dont want to ruin it"

this wont ruin it as long as u dont send a clipped signa. if it did matter then ur sub would b blowing when the volume is down because its the same thing

nice logan. that sub is going to blow your head off with proper power.

just becareful with the gain and you won't damage it by underpowering it. alot of people tend to turn the gain up past their limits to compensate for the low output. thats where you can clip the sub. just watch that and you will be fine until you get some real power.

when u get that sh!t fully powered up ur gonna rattle ur teeth out -lol

a good built ported box even on 200wrms will get loud & shake stuff

i had 200wrms going on each of my 2 Rs & ppl 100+ feet away was saying how stuff was vibrating & each sub had only 2 3" pvc pipes......

And then again they just disproved the clipped signal theory too! Funny thing is that 97% of sub failures are during the warm months now my theory is it is because of heat saturation, when a sub sits in a hot vehicle the magnetic assembly absorbs heat, preheating the voice coils. Now with the assembly already warm the resistance of the coils go up providing even more heat, this continues until a failure happens. The larger the assembly the longer it will take to cool down before you bump so remember, on hot days do not bump yo sh!t right away, let it cool down. This is the main reason I inverted my sub and use the A/C every day. Also have to remember inside an enclosure it will take a LONG time before it gets cooler air inside to provide adequate cooling. Thermal failure sucks.... Polo ---> (Just letting a little of my mind leak :-O )

Ya, I come up with some stupid sh!t but it usually makes sense! I found this out in the past summer when I blew my new Treo SSX on 2500rms, couldn't figure out why. I noticed when the assembly was hot from a days worth of sun baking and I got in the car and bumped it, I started to smell the glue stank we all hate. I noticed that the cooler I let it get before I bumped it hard the longer it took to get stinkin. There was a point where I let it get to the ambient temp, like 83 deg F and it kept clean even after playing for a long period and with plenty of BB. There were days that I got into my car and I placed my hand on the magnet and it burnt the sh!t out of my hand, was over 150 Deg F, could have cooked on it! Just remember this the next hot day you get, you'll remember what I said...Polo. :-)

it puts out 1200 (some say 1300) @ 2ohms. damn link still isn't working. lol, ever notice how you can say "damn: to condemn to hell" on this forum, but you cant say "f*rt: to expel intestinal gas from the anus" (yes those are both webster definitions)
