LP and HPF?

Im listenin to rap/hip-hop songs. So im wondering do i keep my amp on LP or do i put it on full 2 play both high power and lower power frequnces and then on the HU have the LP at 80 and HP at around 120?

you can use either one. the one of the hu or the one on the amp.

if you have the your hu set at those frequencies, you can pretty much leave the amp at full.

Set your LPF to 18db @ 80hz for the sub

and

12db @ 100hz for your components

That will give a nice flat response and rolloff to the sub better.

my HU doesnt have a seperate set for the components has somthing that sets freqs for 60+4 or 60+12 and it varys by 2 has that.

What would sound better because at LP the deeper bass s better but at "full" theres less deeper bass but id think it would hit more bass tunes with in the 80-120 freq?

the "bass" on the HU works for Mid Bass right and then the Sub Lv is for the subs? Would it make sence to put up my bass outa 12 on the HU for my components got Infinty 6002I thoes need some power for mid bass put it up about 8 and then put sub lv on -4 ? to even it out?
