SO DO I JUST CUT THE LIGHTER ADAPTER END AND USE THOSE WIRES? AND CAN I USE THE POWER WIRE THAT RUNS FROM BEHIND HEADUNIT THAT RUNS TO THE BATTERY THAT POWERS THE AMP? SAME ISSUE WITH THE DVD PLAYER.. ALL I GOT WITH THE DVD PLAYER IS 3 RCA CORDS AND AN AC/DC ADAPTER THAT PLUGS INTO THE BACK.. HAS A FUSE BOX ON IT.. DOESNT HAVE LIGHTER ADAPTER.. WHERE CAN I CONNECT THOSE WIRES? THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP.. HEIDI

cut the wires and run a wire from battery to a switch(power side) and ground the inverter to floor of car, then just plug the dvd player into the inverter.

Just want to back up what Ty suggested. Run a new power wire from the battery (don't splice into any wires you have already run) to a switch, and then from the switch to your inverter and then ground the inverter.

Get this inverter, it comes with everything you need including the kit you need to hardwire it to the battery. No cutting no nothing. All you have to do is attach it to a screw in your distribution block. and ground it near where you install it.

It also has a remote turn on wire. It's perfect for powering everything you mentionned you want to power.

Anything else?
