Whats a good rule of thumb to use as far as rms goes. Im trying to keep my alternator in tact for a little while longer, and was wondering the amp that puts out the most rms with little current draw from the alt?? Alt is 90amp i believe. BTW i have a budget around 350 for the amp.

im looking at something along the lines of a hifonics BXi1606D, but i once heard that hifonics amps are current hungry. what about the kicker zx 750??

I couldnt vouch for the hifonics, but I have a little hyundai tiburon with a 90 amp alt and stock battery and wires with a Kicker ZX750 and NO dimmage at all.
