welding cable has more surround and less strands atleast the ones i seen i compared 1/0 when i was at nates shop and there was a big difference

yeah welding supply isnt supposed to be that great. dont know where you can get 4/0 just do a few runs of 1/0

i ordered some 2ga from welding supply awhile back...the shipped fast and the cable was just fine.

strand count was as high as alot of audio cable out there.

you may wanna just go w/ alot of knukonceptz KLM 1/0

a guy on either ssa or ca.com bought like tons of 1ft sections of brands of 1/0 wire and i think soneone had said that the surround isnt tight or something so air gets in and after a while the inside of the wire will corrode.

well my ss 6500 can take up to 4/0 and i think theres only 1 power input....

there is no way you would want to run 4/0. its way to expensive and way to thick for most car audio uses. ive seen it for sale in welding shops before for upwards of 10 bucks a foot. if you have ever seen 1/0, 4/0 is almost twice as thick and weighs almost 5 times as much per foot. my friends running the rockford 2/0 to his 4000bd and its working out well for him...ill try and get some pics of it, its kinda impressive.

i just want to send my 6500 as much power as i can since it only has one power input and i know its expensive but i only need one run of it nate said he could get it for ~$6 a foot so i dont know yet and i have seen 4/0 before actually i seen some last saturday i didnt ask if i needed it i just wanted to know where to get it
