Today I'm seding off my money to purchase my sub and wanted to know everyones opinion on which I should get...

15" Q
15" Mag

I'm looking for something to do high 130's to low 140's daily with a decent install.
I mostly listen to rap and chopped n screwed music. I have 1100 watts to work with. The Q seems more towards my budget but I wanted to know if the Mag is really worth the extra hundo.
Also could anyone give me the mailing address of Fi Audio for a MO.

Thanks,
Andrew

yeah that extra hundred could be spend on something useful. i mean geez, the Q does hit the lows better, and sounds almost as good, which is saying a lot

The Q has a little more output on the MAG, but sorry, it does not have the SQ of the MAG, and when you go over the rated RMS on the Q it slowly looses more SQ. Low wise, hmmmm, the MAG gets lower and stays efficient while doing it. Q is a good sub and great for budget and loves to be around the 40hz and so forth. IMO, the MAG has the overall kill. Not saying much coming from me I know, but thats the way the cookie crumbles :-)

still say the Q, not knockin the mag cuz i would love to have one, i just think you might regret spending that extra $100 if you run out of funds for wires and box and such

it all depends on what you want.

More SQ, less output
more output less SQ.

also, what kind of space are you working with.
sealed or ported.
how much power are you using.
do you like exaggerated lows or a flatter balance.

asnwer those and we can get you closer to a sub.:-)

i realize some of those questions may seem inclined for one sub or the other, but they are used to get a good stance on what you like in you subbass.:-)
